Scene 1
After saying, “I will help you prepare for the pooja,” Shakti enters Dadi’s room, closes the door, and begins to sing bhajan. You wanted to tell me something, she continues, and I need to talk to you about it and I don’t want anyone else to hear it. What secret are you keeping from me? I just have a gut feeling that something is off; there is no reason for it. I must now put my faith in what you say. I swear not to have any doubts about you.
According to Dadi, Shiv was bitten by a snake 25 years ago, and guruji informed me that the snake was an ichadhari. Guruji lost his life to give Shiv life, but the companion of that serpent vowed to exact revenge. After 25 years, Guruji buried the snake’s mate, Naagin, underground; nevertheless, Naagin is now above earth. What’s the name of that naagin, Shakti wonders? Dadi remembers Mohini saying she would murder Kartik if she told anyone the truth. Dadi believes that perhaps Shakti can assist me in rescuing my family. Who is she, Shakti wonders? Naagin, according to Dadi, is… her name is. They both pause when Shiv arrives.

Dadi gets a call from Shiv telling her to go talk to Ragunath, and she departs from there. Why is Shiv so agitated out, Shakti asks? From there, he storms off in anger. Shakti claims he is acting strangely because he has never been this furious. She approaches him to speak.
Scene 2
In the kitchen, Koyal and Manorama are preparing food. When Rimjhim arrives, Manorama begs her not to be so upset with her husband. Rimjhim is perplexed, but Manorama is actually speaking obliquely to Koyal. After Manorama states that women shouldn’t cook when they are furious, Koyal walks out. I know you were speaking to her subtly, Rimjhim asks. What transpired? Manorama said, “I’m just worried for my son because that girl scolded him so much.” She walks away. With a sly grin, Rimjhim predicts that Koyal will now fail.
After bringing flowers home, Shiv decides to speak with Shakti. On the other side, Beera leaves the room, followed by Shakti and Shiv. Beera becomes his true Beera form when he witnesses the real Shiv returning home. He departs there after Mohini arrives. When Shiv travels to Shakti, Mohini is present. He inquires about Shakti; she replies that she is in her room, so he visits her.
When Koyal visits Dharam in her room, she informs her that Manorama was concerned about us and that your acting was effective. If Koyal feels that our marriage isn’t functioning, she will speak with us. She nods and walks out as he asks her to bring some lunch while grinning.
Beera is hurt when she brings Mohini to his den. He claims that when Shakti touched him, he was startled. Mohini, relieved that Shakti had touched him, chews into his hand. She claims that because Shakti was wearing a holy thread, “your poison went cold,” but that’s okay because “I filled you with my poison.” I know how to handle her sacred thread.
The show comes to an end.
